Hoyer Petrolog has been awarded what is describes as a “significant development for the business” by way of a three-year contract with Esso to cover its UK delivery business for Tesco Express (Alliance).

The contract, which runs until June 2019, also covers Esso’s industrial and wholesale delivery network in the UK with Hoyer taking responsibility for order taking, stock management, planning and delivery confirmation.

Hoyer said that the transition towards it fulfilling the full service for Esso is likely to take six months through to the second quarter of 2016.

Allan Davison, operations director UK and Ireland, at Hoyer Petrolog said: “I am delighted to announce this strengthening of our relationship with Esso and would like to thank everyone involved at Hoyer Petrolog for their contribution towards this successful outcome.”

This year Hoyer has also won new business with Eurogarages, MRH and Rontec in the south of England.
