International Swiss-based freight and logistics business Kuehne + Nagel reaped the benefits of its long term growth strategy with record results in the 12 months to 31 December 2011. Hoyer says 2012, and the medium term future, will be a “challenging period” as the bulk liquid giant reported a 6.8% fall in pre-tax profit to £3.5m for the year ending 31 December 2011 (2010: £3.8m).
