Ofcom has provisionally found that Royal Mail breached competition law with the price increases competitor Whistl complained to the regulator about last year. TNT Post is giving its customers the ability to monitor the status of their parcel and packet deliveries for the first time with the launch of a track and trace system.
Royal Mail will begin its listing on the London Stock Exchange on 11 October, with the price per share set between 260p and 330p.
Analysts have reacted cautiously to Royal Mail’s year end results, which saw the group’s turnover grow 2% year-on-year but annual profit fall by more than a third (37%).
