Derrick Potter, founder and chairman of Potter Logistics, celebrated the company’s 50th anniversary by receiving the Chairman’s Award at the annual UK Warehousing Association Awards at the Dorchester Hotel yesterday (1 July). A “huge increase” in mental health concerns in haulage during the Covid-19 pandemic has prompted the Unite trade union to push for an industry standard to tackle the growing crisis.
Potter Group Logistics unveiled its new livery today (1 January) and has also changed its name to Potter Logistics. The refreshed image, which has retained its signature yellow colour, will be featured on its signs, uniforms, website and marketing materials, as well as 20 new trucks and trailers which will be added to its fleet tomorrow (2 January).
