Keyfuels parent Fleetcor has merged the Keyfuels CV fuel card with its Allstar car and van fleet card to create a single card – Allstar One. While the new card has chip and PIN for transactions at Allstar’s 8,000 UK sites, this technology will not be available at Keyfuels’ network of 1,800 truck fuelling sites.

Allstar UK MD Peter Bridgen said that bringing the two cards together meant that operators with mixed fleets of trucks, vans and cars could now use a single card and every purchase of diesel from a Keyfuels site would benefit from a 2 ppl discount on pump prices.

The new Allstar One card can also be used to pay for ATS Euromaster services, M6 tolls and service, maintenance and repairs through Fleetcor subsidiary Epyx.

Bridgen said: “Over the last few years we have invested heavily in our business. “The Allstar One card is the pinnacle of this investment, bringing together a number of fleet solutions, additional security features and fuel savings into one. It’s a major milestone as we continue our evolution into becoming a comprehensive mobility solutions provider.”

Fleetcor is working with Visa to develop a new generation fuel card that will enable drivers to pay for an even wider range of products and services that will be launched in 2016.
