Tilbury, Essex-based haulage, freight forwarding and logistics firm Arcese UK said it is working to address its business performance after suffering a 90% fall in profit over the past two years. Woodland Logistics has renewed its contract with packaging manufacturer Cepac for a further five years. The two parties have worked together for seven years and the renewal will see Woodland Logistics manage distribution out of Cepac’s Rotherham, South Yorkshire-based warehouse. Leicester-based packaged chemicals logistics provider HW Coates Holdings has described its financial performance in the year to 31 December 2012 as “satisfactory” – despite raising its profit before tax by 34% over the previous year.
