TNT has added 20 new Iveco Stralis tractor units to its fleet, following a six month trial with a demonstrator vehicle, covering 80,000km. The 4×2 units, supplied by Sherwood Truck and Van, will operate with dry freight box trailers decked out in the company’s orange livery, carrying freight and parcels from Alton, Southampton and Byfleet to TNT hubs across the UK. Scania is underlining its confidence in the reliability of its Euro-6 range by becoming the first manufacturer to offer a three year repair and maintenance package as standard on all new long haul and distribution trucks.
