Palletways has extended its contract as the main haulier for independent bathroom and tile manufacturer Better Bathrooms. The network is expected to move around 100,000 pallets a year for the retailer, as well as providing support to warehousing staff at Better Bathroom’s new Didcot distribution centre. Smyths Toys Superstores has awarded Wincanton a one year distribution contract to handle the toy retailer’s nationwide deliveries. German automotive product supplier Brose has extended its contract with Gefco by three years. The new part of the contract will see Gefco deliver products from Brose’s production site in Coventry to one of its customers in Redditch. The original contract, held since 2005, already sees Gefco deliver vehicle seat frames to its Coventry site.
