Palletways has extended its service to cover Poland and the Baltic region. The pallet network will, from next month, run to Estonia, Lativia, Lithunaia and Poland. The areas will be serviced from its hub in Germany. The UK’s continuing economic malaise is creating new business opportunities for pallet networks as own-account operators look to slim down their vehicle fleets, according to the boss of Pall-Ex.
Palletways has said a departure from the EU will inevitably create “new challenges” for the industry and the network, in the wake of the UK’s decision to end their membership.
