A double-digit rise in income from its expanding warehousing operation helped food logistics service provider Grocontinental achieve a 6% increase in turnover in the year to 31 October 2014. Kuehne + Nagel’s road and rail logistics division saw volumes fall in the third quarter due to seasonality and the tough economic conditions affecting Europe, dragging down its nine month performance.
