TNT has a new finance director, from defunct City Link no less.
Although we covered the news last week, there's more.
The Hub has some more detail, namely that Robert Peto will replace Jon Downing, described by TNT as a long-standing member of the company’s senior management team, who retired last month.
Peto held senior finance positions with City Link, Parcelforce and GeoPost, and new TNT broom Marianne Culver said: “Robert brings to TNT vast experience in leading transformational change and business turnaround in complex UK environments.”
Peto added that he was delighted to be joining the company at what is an exciting time. With former sister company TNT Post becoming the dubiously spelt Whistl and fierce competiton in the express market that part is certainly true.
