Schmitz Cargobull UK has appointed its first national sales manager for truck bodies, in a move the manufacturer said demonstrates its commitment to the growing sales of temperature controlled truck bodies.
Simon Lake, 45, has joined the company with 25 years of industry experience, including seven years with the Bevan Group, Schmitz Cargobull’s partner in the domestic rigid body sector.
Lake, who will be based at the company’s head office in Warrington, said: “I’ve worked in the truck body market nearly all my career; the opportunity to join Schmitz Cargobull and lead this new sector with my sales and technical expertise held massive appeal.
