Southampton-based IPL Haulage has added a quartet of Daf XFs to its 30-strong fleet and opened a storage facility in Totton.

The 6x2 units feature 460hp MX-13 engines, automated gearboxes, Super Space Cabs and Daf telematics. They were acquired on a four-year funding package through local Daf dealer Adams Morey, with five-year Daf R&M contracts.

Four used Euro-5 Daf XFs have also been put into operation.

MD Ian Percival said: “It’s in the third and fourth year of ownership when Daf’s quality begins to show – that’s the truck on the road and the service support that keeps it there. I go back a long way with Daf.”
