ELB Partners has taken delivery of a triple-deck trailer from Lawrence David, with a fuel-saving curved-roof design.
tyres in place of having a conventional twin-wheel set-up.
The curtains were jointly designed by ELB and Britsh trailer-maker Lawrence David and had to be digitally printed in Poland, as they needed a specialist machine for the job due to their size.
ELB Partners MD Peter Eason added: “It is capable of taking 70 pallets on the decks without the need for any double stacking at all.
"We hope this trailer will reduce at least two trunks per week, thus doing our bit for the environment and reducing fuel consumption.”
