Matthew Kibble Transport (MKT) has purchased Kent-based operator Shakespeare Transport for an undisclosed sum. STL will keep its own identity as part of the deal, but will adopt a new livery in the Matthew Kibble colours of red and white. Its MD Nicholas Verrall will remain in the role for at least a year. UPS and TNT Express do not now expect their multi-billion euro merger, announced in March, to be completed until early 2013.
