Expect Distribution has won a five-year contract renewal from energy drinks firm Boost Drinks. The deal, which was renewed earlier this month, follows an initial three-year contract which involved storage at Expect’s Halifax site and distribution using a fleet of seven trucks and nine Boost-liveried trailers. XPO Logistics has signed a“multi-million pound” contract with door manufacturer Door-Stop International.
Bradford-based logistics firm Expect Distribution has closed its two-man e-retail delivery operation, following a number of “operational challenges”.
Expect Distribution has blamed a fall in profit on its loss-making two-man delivery service, which ceased operating in May last year, but said that new deals in its contract logistics business will get it back on track.
