Dairy farmer co-operative Arla Foods has renewed its tyre management contract with Bridgestone for three years. Under the contract, Bridgestone will supply its premium tyre range with its tyre pressure monitoring system and the Total Tyre Care service package through to 2018, with real time monitoring and analysis of fleet performance. Arla recently put a modified combination trailer design into service.
Norbert Dentressangle (ND) has picked up a new European warehousing and distribution deal with cable company Liberty Global. ND will establish Liberty’s European DC in Venray, the Netherlands, along with a number of regional DCs, the first of which opened last month in Switzerland. The agreement builds on an existing partnership ND has with UPC, Liberty’s European division, in the Netherlands.
