A strike by drivers and warehouse staff at the Motherwell site of logistics giant XPO Logistics (formerly Norbert Dentressangle) has been suspended after last-minute negotiations between the company and union Unite.
Norbert Dentressangle has revealed that it is one of the six operators involved in a trial of a new LPG system, dubbed EASI-LPG, which could improve vehicle mpg by as much as 15%.
