Over the past two years Motortransport.co.uk has spent Christmas counting down the Power Players – the list of the 20 people we believe have the most influence, and exert the most control, over the road transport industry in the UK – and we will be doing it again this year.
This list is by no means objective, but we’ve hotly debated the merits of those included. In the list you’ll find operators, both own-account and third-party, industry stakeholders and a few off-the-wall choices
What they all have in common is a direct influence over the present and future of the industry, as well as the capacity to and/ or ability to direct or influence the behaviour of others, or the course of events in road transport.
