Norbert Dentressangle and Wrings Transport have been prosecuted for a second time after breaching a weight restriction in Bradford on Avon, Wiltshire. The companies were among eight operators hauled before Chippenham magistrates last month after breaking the 18-tonne ban over a bridge in the town, plus a 7.5-tonne weight restriction in nearby Westbury. Norbert Dentressangle has won a £3m two-year contract with Nestlé Waters UK to provide an intermodal operation for importing bottled water from mainland Europe. The logistics giant will make around 900 scheduled collections and deliveries a year, moving full trailer and container loads at fixed times. Third-party logistics services provider Norbert Dentressangle has been awarded a contract for warehousing and store deliveries by outdoor equipment and clothing retailer Go Outdoors, replacing former supplier Advanced Supply Chain.
