Bullet Express has opened a 4-acre storage facility in East Kilbride to meet demand for warehousing from its customers. The site complements its Bothwell distribution operation and offers storage space for more than 4,000 pallets, pick and pack, and de-containerisation. Two leading logistics firms have questioned plans for a new residential development in Yorkshire that would involve the construction of a new primary school and numerous homes adjacent to their operating sites. Wincanton has won a two-year warehousing and distribution contract with baby and toddler food manufacturer Ella’s Kitchen. The contract will see Wincanton managing inbound deliveries from factories, picking, packing and distributing five million cases a year to supermarkets across the UK and its growing list of international customers.
