Boughey Distribution parent NWF Group had a stable quarter of trading over the summer as it revealed that all customers have now been relocated to its Wardle, Manchester, DC.

During June, July and August NWF said that Boughey “remained stable” with the normal seasonal reduction in activity across the summer months. Its Wardle site is full, it confirmed, and the business is running at 99.7% service levels.

In the previous financial year Boughey signed a number of long-term contracts, boosting storage volumes at the business, and has consolidated operations from its former facilities in Deeside to Manchester.

Its own account feeds business saw “robust” volumes while its sister fuels business “performed broadly as planned”.

Chairman Mark Hudson said: “At this stage of the year the board's outlook for the year remains broadly in line with its expectations and we continue to focus on development opportunities, both organic and through targeted acquisitions.”
