Gefco has won a contract with Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), covering the moment of Range Rovers across the UK. The contract was awarded after JLR carried out a review of its domestic logistics providers. Yusen Logistics has begun trading out of its specialist automotive centre in Tamworth, building on volumes out of its operation at Burnaston, near Derby. The 81,000ft² site, adjacent to the M42, offers decanting, crossdocking, stockholding and sequencing operations from first and second tier automotive parts manufacturers serving Yusen’s major car manufacturing clients.
