Fashion retailer ME+EM has appointed Clipper Logistics to provide a multichannel logistics service from its shared-user DC at Enfield. The contract, which Clipper began work on in July, involves storage and pre-retail services including packaging, as well as e-fulfilment and deliveries to ME+EM’s central London retail store by electric vehicle. Paint and sealant supplier PPG Industries has renewed its contract with Norbert Dentressangle for a further 18 months. PPG, which provides paint, coatings and sealant for the UK Ministry of Defence and customers in the construction, industrial, consumer and transportation markets, has extended the contract to include next day delivery. Norbert Dentressangle (ND) has picked up a new European warehousing and distribution deal with cable company Liberty Global. ND will establish Liberty’s European DC in Venray, the Netherlands, along with a number of regional DCs, the first of which opened last month in Switzerland. The agreement builds on an existing partnership ND has with UPC, Liberty’s European division, in the Netherlands.
