Palletline has appointed a number of operators to cover the postcode area formerly covered by Orb Logistics, which went into administration and ceased trading last week.
A spokesman for Palletline revealed that Global Central, Anglia Freight, D.W. Clark & Sons, Welch’s Transport, Balin Distribution and Jonen Shipping will all be making deliveries in the collapsed operator’s former area on behalf of the network.
“I would like to assure all of our customers in Essex and the South East that it is business as usual and that no service will be interrupted,” the spokesman added.
Orb Logistics covered the CM postcode in Witham, Essex and the B6 postcode in Birmingham.
Orb Logistics, formerly named Mission Logistics, emerged when its directors completed a pre-pack administration last year, following the collapse of Task Force Movement & Storage in August 2013.
