Hermes has won a five-year contract extension with plus-size women’s clothing firm JD Williams, for handling UK and cross-border home deliveries. The extended deal, which will run until 2017, will see the parcels firm handling more than 15 million items per year for JD Williams’ 32 brands. Online grocery retailer Ocado has said its second customer fulfilment centre in Dordon, Warwickshire, will commence operations in February next year. Equipment installation at the warehouse is almost complete and testing has been underway since May, the firm confirmed. The project “remains in line with budget”, it said.
