Publisher Gruppo Media has extended its delivery and warehousing contract with Castle Donington-based Spatial Global.

The contract has been extended to include receiving, storing, pick and pack and dispatching merchandise to customers, along with delivering bulk orders to retailers.

The operator will continue to provide pick and pack, warehousing, mail delivery and express courier services for the publisher- a contract it has held since 2009.

Spatial Global collects magazines from the publisher’s printers on a monthly basis. It then packs and labels magazines at its Castle Donington site for international delivery.

The contract also covers management of its back issue orders, which are stored at Spatial’s warehouse.

Andrew Austin, deputy chairman of Spatial Globa,l said: "The work now covers most aspects of our specialist fulfilment services for publishers in the UK, and we are delighted to be an integral part of the young company's push for growth in 2014 and beyond."
