Palletways and TNT Express have won two separate European distribution contracts with Yankee Candle.

Palletways will transport products for Yankee Candle for three years, making deliveries to 13 countries through its European network of over 300 members and 12 hubs.

Commenting on awarding the contract to Palletways, Yankee Candle operations manager Bruce Mitchell said: “We are excited by the potential that our partnership with Palletways offers to us and our customers. As our business expands across Europe, we require a logistics firm that can provide a speedy and reliable service across the continent to ensure our products reach customers on time.”

TNT Iveco

TNT Express' contract will cover deliveries of non-palletised stock directly to retailers across Europe. It did not disclose the length of its contract.

TNT Express UK MD Alistair Cochrane said: “We are delighted to be adding Yankee Candle to the ever growing list of UK retail businesses who rely on TNT Express to ensure they can maximise the speed with which they can respond to customer demand and get product to exactly when it is needed on the high street.”
