Homeware supplier Loaf has awarded a new multichannel contract for nationwide storage and distribution services to Wincanton.
The contract, which Wincanton will run from its multi-user warehouse in Greenford, West London, involves the 3PL’s two-man “white glove” operation making deliveries of items including beds and sofas to Loaf customers across the UK.
Wincanton will also oversee distribution of individual packages using its order management and parcel carrier solution.
Maritime Transport has won a major contract to become the long-term operator of the West Midlands Interchange’s strategic rail freight interchange (SRFI) on the West Coast Mainline.

DHL Supply Chain’s new three-year contract with Suntory Beverage & Food GB&I, which sees it replace Wincanton as the company’s sole supply chain delivery and warehouse supplier, has launched this month.
Two-person home delivery specialist ArrowXL has been awarded a contract by workplace furniture and equipment supplier AJ Products UK to store and deliver over 800 orders a month to workplaces across Brtain.
