Same-day courier and express freight specialist Speedy Freight, based in Knutsford, Cheshire, was the recipient of the first Network of the Year award at the 12th Transport Awards recently.
The award, designed to recognise a longstanding member of either Courier Exchange or Haulage Exchange that has experienced significant expansion and success, was presented to the firm at an event in Kenilworth in late March in front over 300 industry professionals.
Organised by freight exchange operator Transport Exchange Group, the awards event saw Eco-Link Logistics named New Member of the Year; CB Couriers winning the award for Owner Driver of the Year; Simpex Freight Management awarded European Member of the Year; and AMV Couriers [award pictured]walking away as Company of the Year.
