Chard-based C&D South West has opened a depot in Dorset, expanding its coverage in the South East and granting it easier access to the region’s ports and also central London.
The Palletforce founder member believes the expansion will enable it to grow both its domestic and international business interests.
Central to this is its new 82,000ft²-plus storage and distribution facility located in Blandford Forum.
“The new C&D South West depot in Dorset will offer our customers management of the complete pallet delivery and logistics process, collecting, storing and distributing goods and materials anywhere in the world,” said C&D South West MD Darren Hammond.
Last year the operator revealed how it was incentivising its team of drivers with the help of a telematics system.
