Dunstable-based Axle Haulage has invested almost £195,000 in this sleeper-cabbed MAN TGS 8x2 which sports a 66 tonne-metre rated Fassi crane and a platform body.
The new vehicle assist it in its nationwide transport work for a range of civil engineering, rail and construction customers.
The firm, which last year celebrated its 25th anniversary, runs 18 platform trucks out of six sites and has just achieved silver Fors accreditation.
MD Barry Jordan described the distinction as "a benchmark we felt necessary to work in certain market sectors for certain customers".
