Karen Crispe will step down from her role as MD of Tachodisc to join the FTA at the start of April as commercial director.

Philip Jordan will succeed her as MD and will work alongside her during the handover period.

Jordan was MD of Tachodisc from 1996 to 2005 and returns following stints at the FTA and TruTac, as well as working in other B2B industries, including software, technology and the logistics market.

Crispe said: “It is with mixed emotions that I make this move. I have been with Tachodisc for 15 years and have seen first-hand how the business has evolved in line with the needs of the industry. I’m immensely proud of all that we have achieved.

“None of this success would have been possible however without the professionalism and expertise of everyone at Tachodisc, and I would like to thank all my colleagues, who I will miss dearly, for their continued support over the years,” she added.

Tachodisc chairman Nigel Tollit said: “The board was very sorry to learn that Karen would be leaving. It has been an honour to work with Karen, and on behalf of all the directors and staff, we would like to thank Karen for all her hard work and dedication over the years.  We wish her every success in the future”.
