Ocado plans to invest £100m in its hubs, depots and vehicles this year to increase capacity in its network. Online supermarket Ocado has created more than 1,000 driving, warehousing and operational support jobs as it looks to increase capacity in its network this year.
Morrisons has launched its online food offering, with deliveries across the Midlands due to start on 10 January.
Potter Group Logistics has had its storage and distribution contract with Greencore Grocery extended by a further two years. The contract, worth approximately £3.2m, sees Potter group storing and moving ambient finished products for the manufacturer to customers in retail and foodservice sectors.
