TNT Express has won a contract to become the exclusive express delivery provider for musical instrument and audio equipment manufacturer and Gibson.

The 18-month contract will cover the delivery of Gibson’s full range of products, including its famous electric and acoustic guitars, across Gibson's EMEA region.

Using its road network, TNT will also handle returns from 300 dealers to Gibson’s Netherlands DC.

The operator, which has just spent £4.3m on upgrading its Park Royal depot, will distribute Gibson's products in 40 countries in Europe, six countries in the Middle East, and South Africa.

Alex Smits, EMEA DC manager for Gibson Europe said reliability was the main reason it chose TNT Express for the contract.
