MT Top 100 company Goldstar Transport has said that 2014 will see it focus on improving gross margins after turnover and pre-tax profit fell last year. Birmingham-based Corporate Solutions Logistics, which counts Lidl, household goods manufacturer Vax and Smurfit Kappa among its customers, has said it is on target to close its financial year with a turnover of £22m.
Profit fell at Kuehne + Nagel’s road and rail logistics division in the first half of 2013, compared to the same period in 2012, although it predicted a stronger second half-year performance.
