APC Overnight has reported larger parcel volumes this year as well as a greater uplift on its busiest day, after seeing increases in both turnover and pre-tax profit last year. CitySprint has acquired all operations at Woking-based Eagle Express Worldwide Couriers. Its same-day, international and UK overnight operations were acquired by CitySprint on 8 December, taking its network to 35 depots and 2,000 couriers. It will be transferred over to the CitySprint brand later this month. CitySprint said the transition will be seamless for Eagle Express’ customers and it will continue to be serviced by the same staff at the same depot in Old Woking.
