MT Top 100 operator UK Mail Group posted a 63% growth in pre-tax profit, and 8% growth in turnover, in the first six months of its financial year underlining a period of what chief executive Guy Buswell described as “very strong growth”. UK Mail saw its profit tumble by more than 80% in the six months ending 30 September 2015, after its relocation to a new hub and “teething issues” with the facility’s technology.
Kuehne+Nagel said 2020 was a year of two halves, with a weak first semester followed by a strong second resulting in a group net turnover of CHF 20.4bn (£15.8bn).
