Eddie Stobart and the Unite union will start talks at Acas this Thursday (15 November) in a bid to end the row over drivers’ jobs at Tesco’s Doncaster DC. A strike by drivers and warehouse staff at the Motherwell site of logistics giant XPO Logistics (formerly Norbert Dentressangle) has been suspended after last-minute negotiations between the company and union Unite.
Tesco has been drawn into the Eddie Stobart Doncaster row as drivers at the DC prepare to start a third wave of strike action tomorrow (6 December).
