MC Rental has opened a multi-million-pound premises in Maidstone, Kent offering all makes and models of commercial vehicle to rent on daily through to long-term contract hire deals.
The three-acre site will include workshops and a jet wash facility to maintain the expanding fleet. There is also a new reception area.
MC Rental was launched 10 years ago as a division of Volvo and Isuzu franchisee MC Group - which was named Motor Transport Dealership of the Year 2012 - and initially only hired out Volvos on a contract-hire basis. However, it now has a mixed fleet of more than 1,700 vehicles ranging from 4x4s and vans to reefers and 44-tonners.
Dave Hutchins, group sales director at MC Group, said: “Demand for rental has been on the increase due to its flexible nature, particularly in recent years with the degree of economic uncertainty we have all experienced.
“Our customers now have a dedicated facility to deal with all their rental needs, which will make it even easier for them to do business with us.”
The new site will be open from 6am to 7pm on Monday to Friday and 8am to 1pm on Saturdays.
