Safety-Kleen-Ivecos

Safetykleen, the hazardous waste management company, has renewed its fleet with 85 new vehicles.

The company has purchased a range of trucks from 61 5.5 tonne Iveco Daily vans through the weight range up to three 44-tonne tractor units.

The new vehicles will be rolled out during the next couple of months and spread across Safetykleen’s national network of 19 branches and waste transfer stations.

The Ivecos, taken on a contract hire basis via Fraikin, are fitted with Masternaut vehicle tracking and driver feedback technology.

Graham Webb, operations director at Safetykleen, said: "The new fleet will incorporate enhanced driver facilities, recognising that this is the office for many of our staff.

"In addition, an improved fit out and design of the main body of the vehicles will better suit the needs of our customers as well as the efficient delivery of the products we provide."

The replacements take the operator’s  commercial vehicle fleet to 248 units.
