Suckling Transport delivered an 8% rise in pre-tax profit in the year to 31 December 2015, according to its latest annual results.
Consumption of road transport fuels fell fractionally during 2012, latest statistics from the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) have shown. A 5.4% fall in petrol sales over the year being almost entirely offset by a 2.36% rise in diesel sales, according to DECC.
The founder of campaign group PetrolPromise has expressed his disappointment after the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) decided against launching an investigation into the UK petrol and diesel market.
