Volunteers in a Lorry Watch scheme reported the company after spotting the vehicles breaking the 18-tonne limit on Bradford-on-Avon’s town bridge.

Swindon Magistrates issued a £500 fine for each offence, a £50 victim surcharge and £370 costs to the council; a total of £2,420.97.
