Potter Logistics has won a storage contract with pet food supplier Wagg Foods. The deal will see Potter Logistics dealing with 450 pallets a week of supermarket branded pet food, delivered from Wagg’s factory in Dalton to its DC in Ripon ahead of onwards delivery to Tesco. Meachers Global Logistics has won a major contract renewal with cruise ship operator Carnival UK, following a competitive tender process. The Southampton-based operator’s relationship with Carnival stretches back 14 years, and Meachers already manages the company’s supply chain for its vessel fleet. This includes providing inventory control, warehousing, consolidation, pick and pack, and back office support services.
