Retailer John Lewis has launched a trial allowing customers to collect goods from CollectPlus outlets. Norbert Dentressangle (ND) has won a 10-year contract renewal with Shop Direct Group (SDG) for the warehousing of its ‘two-man delivery’ products. The logistics giant will be responsible for the receipt, inspection, picking, dispatch and returns management of products requiring two-man delivery, such as furniture and white goods. CollectPlus has signed up its 5,000th store to its parcel delivery and returns network. It means the network of local convenience stores offering the CollectPlus service has grown by nearly 1,000 in the last year, with its latest addition in Brentwood, Essex.
