Knights of Old wins Community Foods distribution deal

Community Foods has signed a three-year contract with Knights of Old for the distribution of its organic food range across the UK.

The contract will see Knights of Old collect orders daily from three Community Foods sites for overnight delivery to retailers via its shared user network.

Ian Beattie, MD of Knights of Old, said: “The food sector is a strategic growth area for Knights of Old and we are looking forward to embarking on our new long-term partnership with Community Foods.”

As part of the deal the Northants haulier has wrapped two of its trailers in customised liveries promoting two of Community Foods’ brands: organic baking range Crazy Jack and Japanese food range Sanchi.
