Turnover at the transport division of Hargreaves Services have risen in the past 12 months, however its profit fell marginally as its tanker division struggled. Hargreaves Logistics turnover increased by £5.4m from £77.3m to £82.7m for the 12 months ending 31 May. However operating profit fell slightly to £4m, from £4.1m a year ago. The average price of a litre of bulk diesel is just 0.75p off the all-time record set at the end of March last year, according to a survey of Road Haulage Association members.
