Palletways has relaunched its member recognition scheme with the help of British explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes, in a bid to create an even more exclusive club.
The pallet network, which previously accorded its best members Platinum status, has introduced the Platinum Club.
In doing so it moves from an accolade conferred to 15 to 20 members annually, to one granted in its inaugural year to just 12. Based on internal KPIs, the recipients of the Platinum Club title also receive votes from the network’s 106 UK members.
A spokesman for Palletways said that with customer service standards – both in regards customers and operators – remaining so important to the network's success, the Platinum Club was another important way of recognising those members delivering the very best service.
Speaking at the firm’s recent annual summer-conference, which Fiennes was a guest of honour at, Palletways UK MD Martyn Young said: “Providing customers with a fast, reliable and efficient service is our top priority, and these awards highlight the dedication of our members to meeting the very highest standards.”
