Hargreaves Logistics had a "solid"  year in 2012-13, performing in line with expectations, parent company Hargreaves Services said today.

Both its dry bulk fleet and tanker fleet  performed well, its pre-close trading statement for the year ended 31 May 2013 revealed.

It added that the group remained in a “strong” financial position at the beginning of the current financial year.

It expects to publish its full year preliminary results on 24 September.

Earlier this year, Hargreaves Logistics won a two-year contract with Durham County Council to transport household waste, in partnership with SITA UK.
