Rail freight operator DB Schenker Rail UK has selected Roadways Container Logistics’ Birmingham Intermodal Freight Terminal (BIFT) as its Midlands rail hub. Two DB Schenker trains from Southampton and one from Felixstowe run daily into the state-of-the-art terminal, carrying more than 770 containers a week in and out of BIFT.
